Doepfer A-100LC6sw Low Cost Frame with PSU3 (erurorack case)
Same as A-100LC6 case but now with PSU3 in stead of PSU2
This is an economical version of the A-100 suitcase. It is made very simple without front cover, without the metal rails and corners of the suitcase version described above. In other respects the low cost suitcase is identical to the suitcases described above (i.e. it includes the A-100 PSU3 and two bus boards).
The case is made of raw wood without laquering. The case can be varnished by the customer in any desired color e.g. by means of a spray can.
New: Since spring 2016 the case is also available with black coating :A-100LC6V

inside: 2 x 84 HP x 3 U (two bus boards), useable depth for A-100 modules: approx. 80 mm in the power supply area (bottom right), resp. approx. 110 mm in the remaining area (measured from inner side of the front panel until end of the pc board of the module)

In the area near the power supply (bottom right) no modules should be assembled that are sensitive against transformer hum. We recommend to assemble only control voltage modules in this area (e.g. LFO, ADSR, trigger delay, clock divider/sequencer, sequencer, slew limiter, MIDI interfaces and so on) but no audio modules (VCO, VCF, VCA, VCP, frequency shifter, ring modulator, spring reverb and so on). Even modules width increased depth (e.g. A-113 or A-126) cannot be assembled in the power supply area. They have to be placed in a position outside the power supply area (e.g. in the upper row). But this applies only for a few modules. Normally it is no problem to arrange all modules by mounting modules with smaller depth in the power supply area.
